Where are your hives located?

All of our hives are located in Northern California, Oregon, and Montana.

Is your honey raw?

Yes, Collett’s Humboldt Honey is raw.

Is your honey organic?

The US does not currently have any organic honey regulations.  Our hives are located in wild crop forage only.  No cultivated crops are near our hives. Currently, all organic honey for sale in the US is imported.

Why is my honey crystallized?

All raw honey will crystalize; simply use as is or put in a water bath and gently warm.

Is your honey pasteurized?

No, it is not necessary to pasteurize our honey. Bacteria cannot grow in honey.

What about feeding honey to babies?

Do not feed honey to infants younger than 1 year.
